How this AI photo generator works
Every picture on Photo AI starts with a photo you upload. The AI builds the new image from it, changing the outfit, the place or the style. There is no text-only generation here: you cannot type a description and get a picture without a photo, so the result is always based on the shot you provided.
A photo is usually ready in about 15 seconds. Everything you make is saved to the feed in your account, where you can download it.
Templates or Create: two ways to make a picture
Templates are the quick route. There are more than 300 of them, covering photoshoots, nature, cinema, travel, seasons, fantasy, art and more. Choose one, upload a single selfie and wait. Only a few, such as couple shots and collages, ask for two or more photos. All photo templates run on Google's Nano Banana 2 model.
Create is the flexible route: upload your photo and write what should change. You pick the model, Nano Banana 2 (recommended), Nano Banana Pro (top quality) or Seedream 5 Flash by ByteDance (fast), and the frame: auto, 1:1, 3:4, 4:3, 9:16 or 16:9.
Tips for better results
Use a sharp, well-lit selfie with your face toward the camera and nobody else in the frame. Skip sunglasses and heavy filters. Screenshots and document photos are refused by the automatic check, so upload the original picture.
Keep requests short and specific, one idea at a time. For example: "Put me in a navy suit in a modern office", "Make this photo look like a 3D cartoon", "Change the background to a snowy mountain at sunrise".
